Terms of Use
Agreement The User agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions when signing up for ejobs.fi. User is defined as either a job applicant (individuals) or an employer or recruiter who leaves job ads. The agreement also specifies the conditions ejobs.fi agrees to comply with. Registering as a user requires recording personal data into our system, and this data forms a person register in accordance with the law. This Agreement shall come into force when the user has approved the terms of this agreement and has signed up for the service, as well has received the registration confirmation or order confirmation from ejobs.fi. By this agreement the user has the right to use ejobs.fi's services in accordance with the law and good practices. The service is free of charge for job seekers, but employers submitting job ads shall be charged in accordance with the chosen product.
Registration and User Accounts You are permitted to access the service by registering as a user. Registration to the service is always subject to certain mandatory disclosure of information. The user receives a confirmation e-mail for signing up. When registering to the service user determine for themselves the personal username and password. Username and password are strictly personal and confidential, and shall not be disclosed to other persons. User can choose to change their passwords. Forgotten user name and password can be ordered from ejobs.fi, and the system will then send those to the user by e-mail. The user is solely responsible for the usage of the service using the personal username and password.
User: responsibility and rights Copyright of the service and its content belongs solely to ejobs.fi and its licensors. The user has the right to record a copy of their own personal data only for their own private use. The user may not publish or copy any other parts of the service. The user may not sell, convey or transfer the service or its components to third parties. The user may not store, distribute, send or forward in the service material which is against the law or contrary to good practice, or which incites to such action. The user is responsible for ensuring that the user does not save, distribute, send or transmit in or through the service any intellectual property right protected material without permission. In the event of a dispute the user is fully responsible at its own expense for the disputed material. If a user acts against the law or the agreement, the user is directly accountable to the party itself, whose rights have been violated. The user is responsible for ensuring that the saved material does not violate anyone's rights. The user’s activity may not give rise to any problems or disturbances to other users of the service or service provider. User may not include the service or part of the service with commercial purposes to their own home pages, without a written permission from ejobs.fi. User is responsible for their own equipment and programs working order, and that those do not cause damage, disruption or harm to ejobs.fi or to other parties. User is responsible for any incurred expenses while using our service. The user is responsible for ensuring that his personal data stored by the service are correct. The user can inspect and edit the information provided at any time. The user can also get by post all their personal information stored in our service and file register. They can be provided to user upon written request. The user has the right to prohibit the disclosure of personal data, and the right to remove any personal data from the service if they so choose. Only existing natural person, (for subscription services, at least 15 years of age) or a legal person is entitled to register for a user. Minors or persons less than 18 years of age are required to be authorized to buy services by the minor's legal guardian, or that the act is normal and insignificant, or that the act is performed on the minor's own income. The user has the right to terminate this User Agreement at any time. In this case, the user must make a notice of termination.
Service provider: responsibility and rights Ejobs.fi does not restrict job advertisements and CV submission, and is not involved in the interaction between employers and job applicants. Ejobs.fi is not responsible for the job advertisements or resumes submitted to the service. Ejobs.fi has the right but not the obligation to inspect, modify or prohibit publication of material deemed inappropriate. Ejobs.fi provides their services as they see fit, and can change its content. From user's point of view material changes are immediately informed on our site. Ejobs.fi has the right to convey with the job seekers' permission their own personal information stored in the service to users registered as employers. Ejobs.fi uses the user’s personal information when communicating with this. Ejobs.fi has the right to verify if necessary the user's identity, business ID or other registration number as well as any credit information of paying customers. Ejobs.fi may ask from paying customers for a reasonable advance payment or collateral if necessary. Ejobs.fi may check, modify and delete if necessary information saved in the service. User information is retained in the service for 24 months from user sign up or from the last update of the information. Ejobs.fi is obliged to comply with Finnish legislation provisions in handling the user's personal data. The user's information deposited by the service is always treated confidentially. Ejobs.fi ensures the security of the service, but is not responsible for the security risks in using the service, such as viruses. Ejobs.fi is in no way responsible for any damages possibly caused to the user or to any third parties by the service, by the information conveyed through the service or by any other aspect of the service. Ejobs.fi has the right to terminate the agreement with the user without notice and to amend the terms of this agreement. By using the service after the amendment the user agrees to the amended terms and conditions. The changes are apparent always from updated terms of use. Ejobs.fi has the right when unavoidable, to interrupt the service without being responsible for a compensation. In such a situation ejobs.fi endeavors to reintroduce the service as soon as possible. Ejobs.fi has the right to assign this agreement and the related rights and obligations to another company in connection with a business transfer or business trade.
Dissolution of the agreement Ejobs.fi and also the user have the right to terminate the agreement if the other party has materially breached the agreement, and has not corrected the activity within fourteen working days after written notice is received. If the service will be suspended for more than four months, the user has the right to terminate the agreement by notifying ejobs.fi in writing. Neither party shall then have the right to claim damages. Ejobs.fi has the right to stop the production of the service with a reasonable cause. Ejobs.fi will notify the paying customer no later than 30 days prior to termination without liability to compensate. Both parties have the right to terminate the agreement effective immediately if the other party has been forced into bankruptcy, corporate reorganization proceedings, liquidation or insolvency or disruption. The user may not transfer the agreement to a third party without ejobs.fi's consent. Ejobs.fi has the right to transfer the agreement without the consent of the customer to a third party. Transfer shall be notified to the customer no later than 14 days prior to transfer. In this case, the customer is entitled to terminate the agreement in writing. Neither party in that situation can claim compensation.
Disputes The agreement shall be governed by Finnish law. Any agreement disputes will be settled primarily through negotiation. If the negotiations cannot be resolved, disputes will be settled by the district court. If the use of the service caused damage to the user, ejobs.fi is responsible only for direct damage caused by his own fault, not for indirect or consequential damages. Maximum amount of liability to the user is the fee amount for a one-month period from the user’s payment for the service. Compensations should be requested in writing within one month after the discovery of the error.
