The Role

Currently we are recruiting for Finnish Sales Specialist role located at our ibm.com Inside Sales centre in Dublin. The role focuses on selling offerings to the customer base in your country, using the web and the phone as the primary tools. The offerings sold will fall into the Hardware, Software or Services category, and on larger sales opportunities may in fact involve a number of these in the same engagement to meet the customer’s needs.

You will work as part of an international IBM team in the Dublin centre, dedicated to a specific customer set. You will be expected to identify new business opportunities and to successfully progress opportunities to a closed sale. To do this you will need to be able to:

• Plan a strategic relationship with your customers and build and sustain productive business relationships with key decision makers
• Plan and conduct negotiations with customers to drive lasting agreements and commitments and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
• Manage a pipeline of opportunities with the customer set, thus driving revenue and maximising the opportunity for IBM
• If required, work with the customer to develop an effective solution strategy that meets their needs, and also harness other parts of IBM to deliver that
• Commit to and deliver results linked to monthly, quarterly and annual targets and forecasted sales achievements

The Requirements

What will you need to perform this role?
• You need excellent communications skills, this is the core requirement to be able to successfully perform in this role
• Ideally you have prior sales experience, and preferably within a technology environment
• You need to be fluent in your native language, you will be selling to a customer set with that same language
• You will need to be fluent in Finnish and proficient in the English language.
• Preferably you will have a University degree, ideally but not exclusively in a business or IT related discipline

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year experience in IT sales
