Your responsibilities will include architecture, design, development, specification, technical support and pre-sales support for our embedded and IVI customer projects.
We expect you to have
* Strong Linux expertise with an excellent understanding of the architecture, design and implementation of large systems, all the way through from user interfaces to device drivers and operating systems, and hands-on experience in developing and delivering such systems successfully.
* Fluent familiarity with GNU toolchains on both X86 and ARM, compilers, linkers, assemblers and a wide variety of build systems and version control systems.
* Expert-level competence in both C and C++, and capability to adopt new programming languages swiftly and easily.
* Good understanding of multimedia frameworks (GStreamer, OpenMAX) and graphics (OpenGL, OpenGL/ES, X11, Wayland).
* Excellent problem solving skills, capability of working independently and learning new skills and systems rapidly.
* Good understanding of projects and processes, and capability to estimate and plan projects in a supporting role for project management.
* Aptitude at working close to the customers, supporting sales, and finding new avenues of business.
