FLIR Thermography, THG, develops infrared cameras and application software that is used for e.g. identifying energy leaks in buildings, finding faulty equipment in manufacturing plants, detecting gas leaks, etc. Traditionally our systems have been advanced tools used by professional operators but over time they have evolved to be more consumer oriented.

THG now boldly raises the bar for the user experience design and therefore needs a Creative Director. The Creative Director position is a unique opportunity to set new design levels for an eco system of cameras, PC-, Web- and mobile applications. The Creative Director will work with designers both locally in Sweden and other global sites within the Commercial System division.

The Creative Director is responsible for developing original creative design concepts and approaches, overseeing multiple projects through execution, and directing a team of designers.

The Creative Director position requires a deep understanding of user experience design for interactive products of all kinds, sizes, and contexts, in digital or physical form. We are looking for a profoundly engaged and experienced leader to spearhead new creative and strategic thinking that will drive innovation and help bring the designs of user experiences of the future products into reality.

The Creative Director should have deep and practical expertise in User Interfaces and convergent hw-sw experience design.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a person that has the following capabilities:

• Visionary
• Excellent articulation of visual design
• Coaching, communicative and efficient in directing designers
• Extensive experience of industrial- and digital design(interaction & graphical)
• An innovative and solution oriented mindset
• Enthusiasm, positive energy, and ability to maintain a sense of humor under pressure

Required formal training includes a graduate degree in Design or Media. Prior experience of creative leadership roles is required.
